Which supercharger unit is included?

A Procharger unit is included: the P1SC model for Stages 1 and 2, and the D1SC for Stage 3. It uses a self-contained oiling system with no oil lines connecting to the engine, and the D-Series supports up to 16 psi on the 3.6.

Do I need other modifications on my car first?

No. You are not required to have any other modifications on your vehicle. Every requirement to install a supercharger on your Camaro V6 is included in the kit.

How many HP Tuners credits does a 2016 and newer Camaro need?

2016 and up Camaros require 4 HP Tuners credits for the ECM, and 4 more if you also want to tune the TCM, for a total of 8. These are purchased separately to register your vehicle. For 2017+ models the TCM must also be unlocked before being tuned; HP Tuners charges $399 plus shipping for this.

Is a catch can included with the kit?

Yes. A catch can system is included. It separates oil vapors in the PCV system, is set up to ensure proper operation while in boost, and helps keep oil residue out of the supercharger system and intercooler.

What else comes in the kit?

The kit includes a full air-to-air intercooler system with blow off valve, custom machined MAF housing and silicone/aluminum tubing with T-bolt clamps, a full intake system with K&N air filter, new AC Delco spark plugs designed for boost, a new MAP sensor that reads boost, MAF wiring extension harness, throttle body spacer, prefabricated vacuum lines with OEM fittings, and oil for several Procharger oil changes.

Q: How does the belt system work?

The Overkill 8-rib pulley system uses unique mounting brackets that attach at existing engine points. A new independent crank pulley interlocks with the factory pulley and runs a dedicated 8-rib belt for the supercharger that does not interfere with the factory accessory belt.
