High Performance Check Valve
This is a build option for the Tracy Lewis catch can, not a separate part. It cannot be ordered on its own.
When you need it
Every catch can kit ships with billet aluminum check valves. The standard check valve covers applications up to 12 pounds of boost. If your engine generates more than 12 psi, you need the high-performance check valve, which is installed on the intake manifold side of the system. The standard check valve is still used on the opposite side.
If your engine is naturally aspirated or runs 12 psi or less, the standard valve is the correct choice and there is nothing to add.
